ICA: GROWING THE FUTURE

The Story

The Vertical Garden is a three tiered hydroponic growing system that will allow the ICA to produce our own, freshly grown vegetables. It will also be used as a teaching tool for others about the future of farming. A vertical garden like this can grow the same amount of crops as a standard garden in 1/3 of the surface area and 1/2 of the time. As populations on Earth rise, people will rely more and more on alternative growing systems like vertical farms to produce enough food to sustain us.
